Meet your Women in Architecture (WIA) Co-chairs, Rachel Sasson and Phoebe Webster. WIA’s mission to cultivate the development and leadership of women design professionals continues through networking, mentorship, and approachable programming. Rachel and Phoebe look forward to building on WIA’s legacy by creating more opportunities for connection, conversation, and shared support across the profession.
Rachel Sasson
Rachel Sasson is an architect at DIGSAU who believes in making thoughtful, well-designed spaces more accessible in everyday contexts. She is a graduate of Drexel University’s 2+4 Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program, where she gained early professional experience working at Philadelphia-based firms alongside her studies, and quickly grew fond of the city’s tight-knit design community.
Outside of practice, Rachel enjoys live music, cooking, playing guitar, and rooting for the Phillies and Eagles. She loves living in Philadelphia and finding new gems across the city, which continues to shape her perspective on the built environment.
Phoebe Webster
Phoebe Webster is an architectural designer at FIFTEEN with experience as both a designer and gallery owner on the West Coast. Her design work has involved mixed-use, institutional, and multi-family affordable housing projects. She earned a B.S. in Architecture from Temple University and an M.Arch. from UCLA, where she managed POOL magazine, a Graham Foundation-funded publication. Phoebe currently sits on FIFTEEN’s JUST Planning Committee and is passionate about advancing equitable design practices and supporting inclusive, community-centered spaces.
