On Wednesday June 8th, Cecil Baker + Partners joined our client, North10 Philadelphia, to celebrate the groundbreaking of Be a Gem Crossing, a brand-new mixed-use affordable housing development on Germantown Avenue that will transform the Hunting Park-East Tioga community. We, and they, couldn't be more proud! More than 150 stakeholders, partners and neighbors came together to mark this historic moment that will allow them to erase what has been perceived as a landmark of crime and replace it with a symbol of opportunity, progress and community. Be a Gem Crossing would not be possible without strong collaboration, shared vision, and mutual accountability of all parties involved as we work together to improve the lives and outcomes for the residents of Hunting Park and East Tioga. We are grateful to have been chosen to contribute our talents to this important work.
