Nature-Culture, Space, Point: A Danish American Design Perspective

Lecture by architect Eva Christine Jensen at The Athenaeum of Philadelphia, Wednesday, April 22, 6 PM

Stimulated by Copenhagen’s urban development over recent decades, Danish design and architecture have significantly impacted both Denmark and the international community. In this insightful talk, architect Eva Christine Jensen, AIA MAA, founder and principal of Eva Jensen Design, asks what we might learn from Copenhagen’s urban development and Danish design regarding the future development of cities.

Organized in partnership with the Consular Corps Association of Philadelphia and sponsored by the Edith Ogden Harrison Lecture Fund, these monthly talks at The Athenaeum of Philadelphia are sure to expand your global understanding of how "the power of place" shapes design history, contemporary architecture, preservation efforts, city planning, and much more. Lectures are followed by light refreshments in our 19th-century reading room.
