The Bright Common team is growing! We are excited to share that Buddy Burkhalter, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, LFA has joined the studio as a Project Manager. Buddy is an experienced architect with an interest in adaptable and regenerative design solutions. Building upon his prior work as an Environmental Statistician, Buddy has applied this analytical perspective as an Architect by conducting life-cycle analyses, monitoring projects through green certification programs, and establishing frameworks for zero-waste business operations. He has contributed his skills as a designer to Educational, Hospitality, and Science and Technology projects across the US. Buddy is excited to join Bright Common's focus on improving environmental, economic, and social resiliency within Philadelphia's built environment!
Bright Common is a full-service Architecture and Design studio in South Kensington dedicated to pursuing High Concept, Low Carbon design for All People. They were awarded the 2020 AIA Philadelphia Emerging Architecture Prize and recognized as 2021 Design Vanguards by Architectural Record.
