We are saddened to share the terrible news that Josh Abbell, our beloved AIA Philadelphia COTE member and friend passed away in June. Josh was a Senior Project Architect at Ballinger and was an integral part of AIA Philadelphia COTE when it started in 2016. He was very approachable, kind, calm, and was a champion of sustainability. He chaired the 2030 working group subcommittee and had an incredible ability to bring clarity to complex topics. He took a great interest in planning presentations for our members.

Our hearts go out to his wife Amy, his son Julian, and his family.

AIA Philly COTE has created a video tribute in memory of Joshua Abbell.
