AIA Philadelphia Golf Committee Creates Matthew J. Koenig Memorial Scholarship

Matthew J. Koenig, AIA served as a co-chair of the AIA Philadelphia Golf Committee for over 20 years. He did so because he believed in the importance of supporting and advocating for the architectural profession. Matt also was someone who loved spending time with his friends in the AEC industry, especially during the annual Golf Outing. On behalf of the AIA Philadelphia Board and Golf Committee, we are eternally grateful to Matt's dedication to our organization and we miss him dearly.

To acknowledge our friend and colleague Matt Koenig, the AIA Philadelphia Golf Committee has created a scholarship for existing Temple University students in the Architecture program, either Undergraduate or Graduate students may apply.  This scholarship was created to honor Matt's passion and commitment to bettering the profession of architecture.
