The Spring 2023 Issue of CONTEXT is focused on Philadelphia’s mayoral race and the larger concerns of the BUILD Philly Coalition, a group comprised of AIA Philadelphia, Urban Land Institute Philadelphia, Delaware Valley Green Building Council, Building Industry Association of Philadelphia, CREW, Community Design Collaborative, Center for Architecture and Design, Center City Proprietors Association, Preservation Alliance of Greater Philadelphia, Design Advocacy Group, Development Workshop, Hidden City, and many others with a dedicated interest in Philadelphia’s built environment and public realm. How can we, as a collective group, positively impact the platforms of all the mayoral candidates?
For this issue of CONTEXT we are looking for Design Profiles that showcase excellence and innovation in any of the following feature topics:
Community Development
Public Realm
Design/Design Review
Sustainability
Historic Preservation
Real Estate Development
Projects that highlight the future of Philadelphia and the types of buildings and landscapes we want more of. Show us what YOU want to see more of in this City. Be sure to include the project goals and challenges and how you were able to overcome them to deliver the building. More importantly, tell us how the project is innovative and why we should want to see more like it in Philly.
To have your project considered for publication, please complete the online form and be sure to include a description of the project (300-word maximum), the project team and their corresponding roles (firm names, not names of individuals), major product suppliers with contact information (names and numbers), and high-resolution photos (including who to credit for these photos) no later than Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
