The Winter 2027 issue of CONTEXT will explore the Butalist and Brutalism - the movie and the movement. For the Design Profiles we are seeking innovative examples of renovations and additions to mid-century, modern buildings. The original buildings should have been built in the 1950s-1970s and the renovation projects should have been completed within the past three years.
To have a project considered for publication, complete the online form in the link below and include a 300-word description that highlights its unique aspects. Of particular interest are the manners in which the new work relates to the original building. Include five to seven high-resolution photos and the photographer's name. A diagram or drawing that explains aspects of the project would be appreciated. Also include a list of the design and engineering firms involved in the project, and the general contractor. All information should be submitted by Friday, October 9.
