Clean Sweep: CRD Wins Four Construction Awards

C. Raymond Davis & Sons is thrilled to announce that all four projects entered in the Associated Builders and Contractors Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter's 2023 Excellence in Construction Awards competition received first place in their categories.

Valley Forge Baptist | Best Institutional Project $5-10 Million
This project involved constructing a 19,000 sqft addition for Valley Forge Baptist in Collegeville, PA, in addition to renovating the church's existing sanctuary. The addition houses an open concept gathering space with a café, library, indoor playland, and seating area, as well as a choir room, offices, and classrooms. The project was designed by Richard Kapusta and Company Architects and Planners.

St. Patrick School | Best Institutional Project $1-5 Million
This project involved constructing a 7,500 sqft addition for St. Patrick School in Malvern, PA. The two-story structure with a basement houses eight pre-K and kindergarten classrooms, offices, bathrooms, a meeting room, and a faculty lounge. The project was designed by McGillin Architecture.

Fred Beans Hyundai of Flemington | Best Commercial Project $1-5 Million
This project involved renovating a 13,485 sqft Fred Beans Hyundai dealership in Flemington, NJ. The renovation included the showroom, service shop, break room, customer lounges, bathrooms, reception area, offices, and service advisors' space. The project was designed by James Necker Architect.

Private Residence, Princeton | Best Residential Project $1-5 Million
This project involved completely renovating a 2,284 sqft 1850's era home in Princeton for a young family and building a 5,752 sqft addition for their parents. The renovation included demolishing the existing home's sunporch and first floor addition, framing repairs, and a complete interior update, as well as updating the exterior, performing extensive site work, replacing the mechanical systems, and adding a new septic system. The addition houses a full kitchen, a primary bedroom and bathroom, two powder rooms, a residential elevator, and a finished basement. The project was designed by Knight Architects.
