C. Raymond Davis & Sons is thrilled to announce that our residential entertainment barn project was awarded Best Residential Project $5-10 Million in the 2024 Associated Builders and Contractors Eastern PA Chapter's Excellence in Construction Awards competition. The project was also named 2024 Project of the Year with a perfect score of 100, which has not occurred in the competition for seven years.
The project consisted of new construction of a 6,415 sqft luxury entertainment barn on a 1.6-acre private property in Rumson, NJ, along with a 535 sqft garage outfitted as a pottery and jewelry studio, a tennis court, a zen garden, extensive landscaping, and a custom greenhouse.
Inspired by traditional Pennsylvania stone barns while incorporating contemporary design elements, the barn features an open concept design on the main floor with an entry foyer, full kitchen, dining space for 20 guests, expansive living room, 32-foot stone fireplace, a bathroom with a shower, and a lofted bunk room. The lower level contains a wine tasting room, rec room, spa, and sauna.
This unique and masterfully crafted project seamlessly blends traditional charm with modern luxury through a multitude of high-end finishes, technical features, artistic details, and custom furnishings.
