Atkin Olshin Schade Architects is pleased to announce the promotion of Christine Furman, RA to Associate; David Daniels, RA and Gustaf Kamp, RA to Senior Project Mangers.
Christine Furman (RA) has developed the design and led the documentation efforts on many projects for our higher education clients, including the University of Pennsylvania, Lehigh University, and Lafayette College. Christine brings her extensive experience and keen eye for detail to all of her projects, including her work on E. W. Fairchild-Martindale Library and the SouthSide Commons residence hall at Lehigh University.
Christine is currently working on the University of Pennsylvania’s Stouffer Hall, a residence hall built in 1968 that is undergoing significant interior and exterior renovations; as well a new academic space for the Institute for Indigenous Studies at Lehigh University. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Temple University in 2010 and has been at Atkin Olshin Schade Architects since 2015.
David Daniels (RA) has been a key team member in many of our educational and cultural projects, including residence halls at both Lafayette College and Bryn Mawr College. David’s effective communication skills makes him an asset to the firm and a mentor to junior staff.
David is currently working on renovations and a new Dining Hall addition at Delaware County Christian School and restoration of the Historic Lansdowne Theater in Lansdowne, PA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Trinity College and his Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. David joined the firm in 2019.
Gustaf Kamp (RA) began working in our Santa Fe office in 2007 and has been in our Philadelphia office since 2016. He is currently working on the restoration and renovation of the University of Pennsylvania’s College Hall and the restoration of the historic Academy of Music building on Broad Street. He received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
Gus brings expert knowledge in building engineering and safety systems as well as historic and contemporary construction methods to the firm. Gus’s service as a volunteer structural firefighter gives him unique insight into building construction techniques and the realization of advanced architectural solutions for essential facilities improving response, resilience, and sustainability. His fire station work includes the Kewa Safety Complex in Santo Domingo Pueblo, NM and Fire Station No. 2 in Santa Fe, NM.
