Join the Community Design Collaborative for an inspiring workshop on Design Justice led by renownededucator, organizer, and advocate, Bryan C. Lee Jr., Design Principal, Colloqate.
This interactive workshop will highlight the Collaborative's four guiding principles:Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, otherwise known as JEDI. It will focus on implementing these principles into the architecture and design fields to transform communities into healthier, more accommodating living environments for all people.
We're thrilled to welcome Bryan Lee Jr. from Colloqate, a New Orleans-based nonprofit focusing on justice through design.
Bryan's credentials stem from over 10 years of experience in architecture, being a founding organizer at the Design Justice Platform, and organizing the Design as Protest National Day of Action. He's also recognized for leading two award-winning architecture and design programs for high school students through the Arts Council of New Orleans and the National Organization of Minority Architects as well as being named one of Fast Company's most creative people in 2018.
We're excited to engage with our friends and supporters on this topic and (re)define how we can operate in the best interests of the people and communities we strive to empower. Following the workshop, we will be hosting a Happy Hour event with drinks and other light refreshments to better connect with one another.
