Congratulations to Julianne Foley on recent promotion from Director of Membership & Events at AIA Philadelphia to Managing Director at AIA Philadelphia and DesignPhiladelphia! Juli has been with AIA Philadelphia for over 10 years managing Membership and Events for the Chapter. In this new role, Juli will continue to manage all of AIA Philadelphia's events, but will take the lead in managing the operations for both AIA Philadelphia and DesignPhiladelphia. Her leadership and focus on organizational stewardship is coming at a critical time for both AIA and DesignPhiladelphia as we transition into a new space and business model in 2026 and beyond.

Julianne Foley is a seasoned events and membership professional with more than fifteen years of experience in event planning, volunteer management, and organizational development. Juli earned her Master’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Temple University and has spent her career in the non-profit sector.
Juli enjoys live music, photography, and creating childhood magic for her two young sons.
For the past ten years, Juli has served at AIA Philadelphia in key leadership roles, including Member Services & Events Manager and Director of Membership & Events. In these positions, she has strengthened member engagement, cultivated volunteer participation, and enhanced the organization’s presence through innovative programming and impactful events.
Known for exceptional organizational skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences, Juli remains committed to building community connections and advancing the mission of AIA Philadelphia and DesignPhiladelphia through meaningful engagement and strategic leadership.
