GREYHAWK Hires Thomas Mitchell, PE, CFCC, as Executive Consultant

[Mount Laurel, NJ] GREYHAWK, an award-winning construction management and consulting firm, has hired Thomas Mitchell, PE, CFCC, as Executive Consultant. Mitchell will leverage over 40 years of construction consulting experience in claims and dispute resolution for his role within GREYHAWK's Construction Consulting Practice. He joined GREYHAWK November 1.

“Tom has an uncanny ability to look at a claim or dispute, analyze all the parts and pieces, and articulate complexity in clear and simple terms. He will be an asset to GREYHAWK's consulting business and our clients,” said GREYHAWK Chairman Charles F. Boland, PE. “With four decades of experience and relationships, Tom will help us guide and grow our team and company.”

Mitchell will lend his expertise to GREYHAWK's Construction Consulting Practice, encompassing the areas of claims and dispute resolution, cost estimating, scheduling, project risk management, surety consulting and support, and specialty consulting. He will also become an active presence for GREYHAWK at conferences nationwide.

Mitchell's career began as an engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where he led civil and military projects. He transitioned to consulting roles, ultimately rising to national construction consulting practice leader for a 400-person engineering firm. He has provided construction consulting services to contractors, subcontractors, and owners in the education, commercial, transit, and industrial markets. Mitchell is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, Texas, and California, a Certified Forensic Claims Consultant (CFCC), and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He serves on the American Arbitration Association Panel of Neutrals and on the National Construction Dispute Resolution Committee as a CMAA representative. Mitchell holds a Master of Civil Engineering from Villanova University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He lives in Drexel Hill, Penn.
