C. Raymond Davis & Sons (CRD) is thrilled to announce that their luxury custom home project in Haddonfield, NJ, was awarded Best Residential Project Over $10 Million in the 2025 Associated Builders and Contractors Eastern PA Chapter's Excellence in Construction Awards competition, receiving a perfect score of 100. The project also won a first-place award in the 2025 Associated Builders and Contractors New Jersey Chapter's Excellence in Construction Awards competition.
This stunning project involved building a 15,000 sqft custom home for a young family. Designed by architectural firm Asher Slaunwhite + Partners, the residence blends sophisticated design with functional, family-oriented spaces, including a 3,133 sqft indoor sports court connected to the main residence with a porte-cochére, an inground pool, and a 570 sqft fully finished pool house.
The home features interiors by Bergman Vass, a high-end interior design firm located in Philadelphia, as well as European white oak floors, marble finishes, Venetian plaster, and three monumental custom wood stringer staircases. Spaces include expansive living and dining areas, a gourmet kitchen, five bedrooms with multiple ensuite bathrooms, a wellness room with a sauna and cold plunge tub, a golf simulator, and numerous outdoor amenities including a pickleball court, outdoor kitchen, large wraparound porch, and landscaping by Hess Landscape Architects.
CRD collaborated closely with the owners and design teams throughout the project, bringing to life many thoughtful design modifications that matched the owners' evolving vision. Quality craftsmanship and architectural precision were paramount. And, as always, safety was a key success factor—completed with zero incidents thanks to rigorous site-specific planning and continuous oversight.
