Allied News

Join ULI Philadelphia for a panel conversation and workshop on successful partnerships between arts organizations and developers in incorporating public art early into the development process. Hear case studies from Philadelphia projects and participants of the recently held Art in Place technical assistance workshop in February 2025.

Following the panel conversation, attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to the work of the Art in Place initiative. The following questions were raised during the February workshop and will be presented in small group facilitated discussions at this event:

- How can cities and municipalities simplify and incentivize the inclusion of art in small infill projects?

- What are some strategies developers and arts professionals can adopt for ongoing maintenance and conservation of public art and how should they be implemented?

- What are some of the specific challenges around the community engagement process for integrating public art in real estate and how can these challenges be addressed?
