We’re thrilled to announce our new co-chair for AIA Philly COTE as Katherine Urbaniak! She is an Architectural Designer at Stantec and a Drexel University graduate. Her interests include sustainable design, urban design, gardening, and of course low-waste living. (and how we can bring that into our organization!) Katherine has been an active COTE member for many years as co-chair of the Zero Waste subcommittee and has been instrumental in those efforts, especially with the release of their Zero Waste Events Guide! She fulfilled this guide with her zero waste tour of Kieran Timberlake’s office last year and we are excited for her vision and dedication to shape the direction of our group in the coming years. Stay tuned for another exciting year with COTE!
