Congratulations to Interface Studio Architects for winning an Honor Award for their Huntingdon Mills Project.

Huntingdon Mills is a walkable, mixed-use project that employs a strategic attainable strategy. The developer has a track record of matching complementary housing and commercial uses in creating an affordable approach. While a previous project by this developer focused on teacher and educational uses – this project offers a rental discount to medical and behavioral health workers. Health focused uses are being actively pursued with a daycare already in place.

Reinforcing the health and wellness benefits of a walkable urban lifestyle – the project’s courtyard opens toward an existing city park across the street and is convenient to high speed rail transit connecting to Center City hospital centers.A social courtyard organizes the three-sided development, linking residents, office workers and the community.
