WIA is proud to be hosting a joint event with the Fairmount Park Conservancy for a day outside with hands-on service and networking.
Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your co-workers, and wear your work boots – we are going to be doing some hands-on learning about native and non-native species, tree care, and forest restoration as we get into the act with the Fairmount Park Conservancy to enhance the landscape and natural habitats of Fairmount Park. Fairmount Park is the largest landscaped park in the US (10 times the size of Central Park in NYC!) and we are so proud to be a part of the Philadelphia community that actively uses and maintains the space.
We’ll be supplying the coffee and snacks – you bring your enthusiasm and questions!
This is a gender-inclusive event designed for all of our design community. By request of Fairmount Park Conservancy, ages 16+ only, please.
