Amanda is an Associate at Bright Common, an architecture studio dedicated to high concept, low carbon design for all people. Her work focuses on resiliency and social equity in urban environments, ranging from deep-energy retrofits of Philadelphia building shells and scattered site affordable housing projects, to prefabricated Passive Houses and mixed-use urban infill work.

As a certified passive house consultant (CPHC) and leader of Bright Common’s carbon accounting operations, Amanda is dedicated to the evolving discussion of sustainability in the built environment. She has spoken at Green Building United’s Sustainability Symposium, AIA Philadelphia’s Forum on Architecture & Design, and participated in AIA National’s Women’s Leadership Summit. Outside of the office you’ll find her hunting for the city’s best bread pudding or reading about Arctic explorations.
