The Urban Design Committee (UDC) and the Committee on the Environment (COTE) cordially invite you to join us for the first event in our 2022 series on addressing and understanding the impacts of the Urban Heat Island and how it is tied to Redlining and Gentrification in Philadelphia.

The upcoming lecture will be a hybrid, in-person and virtual event, at the Center for Architecture and Design. You'll hear from Thomas Jefferson University Bachelor of Architecture students Elizabeth May and Victoria Martine, presenting their project on "Urban Heat Island / A Case Study into the Heat Vulnerable Neighborhoods of Philadelphia", set forth by their Professor, Dr. Peng Du.
