SketchUp in Practice: Building a Repeatable 3D Workflow for Design Teams
Zoom
Friday 02 Oct 2026
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
2 Oct 2026 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
SketchUp is used throughout many architecture and design offices, but teams often develop their own
ways of organizing models, creating scenes, coordinating with LayOut, and moving between visualization
and documentation. Over time, those differences can make models harder to share, revise, and hand off
between team members.
This one-hour session looks at practical ways to build a more consistent and repeatable SketchUp
workflow for architectural practice. Attendees will explore model organization, Groups and Components,
Tags, Scenes, templates, file structure, LayOut coordination, visualization handoffs, and strategies for
working with models created by someone else.
The focus is not on learning more individual tools, but on creating a workflow that makes day-to-day
project work easier to develop, communicate, revise, and share across a team.
