Program Description:
Discuss the benefits of a ventilated rainscreen façade as it applies to the health of the building structure and managing moisture intrusion. Many façade products discussed. Discuss effective daylighting utilizing exterior windows and interior partitions and walls. Understand the difference between STC, NRC and IIC ratings. Identify the negative impacts of poor acoustics and identify ways to absorb, diffuse or reflect sound in a space to improve acoustics. This event will be held in person at the Center for Architecture + Design.

Discuss the benefits of a ventilated rainscreen façade as it applies to the health of the building structure and effectively managing moisture intrusion
Discuss the unique benefits of several leading cladding materials including the different densities of fiber cement and how moisture impacts each
Discuss lighting ergonomics and the benefits and various options for effective daylighting utilizing exterior windows and interior partitions and walls to improve employee morale
Discuss the negative impacts of poor acoustics on a building's occupants and identify ways to absorb, diffuse or reflect sound in a space to improve acoustics dramatically, improving production and health
