Opening Event: September 18, 2026 6 PM

SITIO architecture + urbanism presents an exhibition that reflects on an approach to architecture deeply grounded in context, community identity, and the transformative power of placemaking. Through drawings, models, research, and built work, the exhibition explores how thoughtful design can respond to social, cultural, and environmental conditions while strengthening connections between people and place. Rather than treating architecture as isolated objects, the work emphasizes collaboration, public engagement, and long-term neighborhood impact. 

The exhibition also commemorates the 10th anniversaries of SITIO and Taller Puertorriqueño's current building. Taller is an enduring gathering place dedicated to culture, education, and resilience within the community. Over the past fifty years, They have supported spaces that celebrate Latinx heritage while creating opportunities for dialogue, creativity, and civic participation. Both organizations have a shared commitment to building environments that honor history, amplify cultural expression, and strengthen community connections for future generations.
