Join Us at Carpenters' Hall to cerebrate this year's Stewardson Competition Winners and Honorable Mentions!
This year was the 121st year of the John Stewardson Memorial Fellowship in Architecture. Grounds for Debate | An Architecture for the Next 250 Years of Democracy in the United States of America, the theme of the 2026 competition, focused on meaningful engagement while providing space for dialogue, conflict resolution, education, and occupation.
This event takes place where this year's competition started. We gathered the participants at the Visitor's Center for the kick-off charrette where they heard from the company and visited the site, Independence Mall.
