Join us on Thursday July 28th at 6PM at the Center for Architecture for a hybrid event focusing on the link between Urban Heat Island mitigation and “green Gentrification.” This is the second session of the 3-part series in our COTE x UDC Collaboration and we will hear from two speakers who are experts on the impacts in Chinatown. Sarah Yeung is an urban planner, a policy advocate, and founder of Sojourner Consulting, a community development service provider. Issac Kwon is a community and economic development consultant who possesses extensive experience in urban neighborhood development. They will be focusing on their report entitled, "Philadelphia Rail Park Property Value Impact Study." This study demonstrates the link between green space creation and gentrification, as evidenced by rising property values. Light snacks and beverages will be served.
Special thanks to DIGSAU for sponsoring this event!!
