Join Urban Design Committee to read Managing the Climate Crisis. We will learn together climate crisis management on the macro scale. We begin with an in-depth look at all the biggest climate dangers: flooding, extreme heat, fresh water shortage, wildfire, and food shortage. We will understand how government policies at the federal, state, and local level can respond, mitigate, and work towards preventing these dangers. We will hopefully learn more what Philly should focus on.
