ULI Philadelphia will share detail about it’s UrbanPlan training program, that provides a simulation-based experience for high school students, college students, and/or community leaders to explore development fundamentals and tradeoffs.
The program places participants into different roles on a development team, responding to a RFP, balancing financial, planning, and community interests. Volunteers are land use practitioners who facilitate throughout the program and comprise the “city council” at the end which evaluates different teams final proposals.
