The Vagelos Laboratory for Energy Science, and Technology features an innovate facade that was planned from the inside out. Beginning with the early site strategy, program arrangement, the facade was planned to holistically maximize daylight, optimize thermal performance, prioritize user comfort and control, and express the mission of energy research to the public at this prominent gateway to Penn's campus.

General knowledge about early site strategy, building enclosure, and thermal performance.
1. Follow and learn the facades role in enabling a holistic sustainable environment featuring low-energy radiant heating and cooling and natural ventilation.
2. Explore the concept of Life Cycle Assessment and Circularity Research in material selection.
3. Be introduced and identify the benefits of implementing megapanel construction with curtainwall.
