Join AIA Philadelphia's Committee on the Environment Zero Waste team on for an exciting tour of a circular glassblowing facility, located in the Bok Building in South Philadelphia. Remark Glass is a zero waste glassblowing studio that transforms used bottles and jars into unique barware, tableware, and lighting. Their sister non-profit, Bottle Underground, is dedicated to reimagining glass recycling. At the event, you'll have the chance to tour their studio, watch live glassblowing, and see the inside of a recycling nonprofit. In total, you'll get to see what it takes to run a circular business. Light refreshments will be served.
After the tour, the group will be able to enjoy the roof top bar at the Bok Buildings for a Happy Hour! This event has a capacity of 30 people, so be sure to register soon!
