Join us in supporting the creation of scholarships for the Women’s Leadership Summit (WLS)—a national platform dedicated to empowering and advancing women in architecture, in partnership with Zuzanna Bojarska, AIA Philadelphia, the Women in Architecture Committee, and AIA Pennsylvania.
The AIA Philadelphia WLS Scholarship was created last year by Ramune Bartuskaite and a mighty team of volunteers and prior WLS attendees. Last year, they put on an amazing event with speakers and a raffle, and raised plenty of outright donations - AIA PHL was able to send two members to the conference and cover many of their travel expenses.
The event will kick off with a Pecha Kucha presentation from the 2024 AIA Philadelphia Women’s Leadership Summit scholarship recipients, Lea Litvin and Roshni Krishnan. They will share their personal journeys, reflect on how the summit has impacted them, and highlight key takeaways from their experience at the Summit.
Zuzanna Bojarska will moderate the "Women of Impact" panel discussion, featuring Rebecca Johnson, Executive Director of AIA Philadelphia and DesignPhiladelphia; Jamie Ober, 2025 President of AIA Pennsylvania; and Danielle DiLeo Kim, 2025 President of AIA Philadelphia.

Through this initiative, she continues to support and uplift women in architecture, empowering them to advance in their careers and leadership roles.
Danielle DiLeo Kim is a strategic civic leader, urban design consultant, and the 2025 President of AIA Philadelphia. A mentor and advocate for women in leadership, Danielle empowers the next generation of female professionals. As she says, "When something needs to be done, I usually find my way to making sure it happens."
