Join us for an evening of outdoor exploration to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month!
Meet WIA and our collaborative partner, Latino Outdoors - Philadelphia, at the Discovery Center on Thursday, September 14, at 6pm to check out the "unique wildlife sanctuary" right in Fairmount Park! After an hour of self-guided touring, we'll gather together to hear from Latino Outdoors about "sharing and celebrating stories, knowledge, and culture among an active community of Latino outdoor users, mentors, and stewards," as well as the architects who designed the Discovery Center in 2018.
Light refreshments will be provided, please be prepared to sign a waiver when checking in for the event, or get a head start and complete it online HERE.
