Building enclosure design and construction is often challenging given technical considerations, the use of multiple enclosure systems, scheduling, and project delivery demands.  WJE frequently observes in progress construction and investigates installed building enclosures as part of our scopes of services.  Every field visit experience offers moments for reflection.  This presentation will feature numerous project specific examples highlighting lessons learned, some do’s and don’ts, and review of several concepts and considerations related to building enclosure performance design and installation particularly related to glass and glazing.
