Join AIA Philadelphia's Housing Committee for a discussion with our counterparts at the state level from AIA Pennsylvania's Housing and Community Development Subcommittee.
We will discuss advocacy work in Harrisburg, actions we can take on important proposed legislation affecting our profession, issues affecting AIA Philadelphia's members that should be discussed at the State level, and answer questions attendees might have.
AIA Pennsylvania's Housing committee evaluates policy and legislative activity to advance, inspire, and advocate for our profession’s interests in single-family and multi-family housing and community development in alignment with AIA PA’s mission and strategic plan.
The subcommittee's goals are to bring the architects’ voice and capacity to add value to outcomes through professionally-led design thinking as we to increase the health safety and welfare of the public through improved conditions, resilience, equity, diversity, inclusion, affordability, and quality of life provided by housing for all people across the Commonwealth.
