If you are curious about Fellowship - for yourself or a colleague, now or in the future - please join us virtually at 8 AM on Thursday, March 6 for an introduction to Fellowship presented by the Philadelphia Fellows Committee.
Fellowship is one of the highest honors the AIA can bestow on a member, with only about 3% of AIA members achieving the distinction. To most members, the process is obscure. The Fellows Committee, which promotes the excellence of Philadelphia architects by identifying qualified Chapter members and helping support their applications, hopes to add clarity!
This meeting will help you understand whether Fellowship is something you might wish to pursue. It will describe the qualifications the National Fellows jury looks for, provide details about the application process and schedule, and identify helpful resources. Most importantly, you’ll hear from four recent Fellows who will describe their firsthand experiences and offer tips on putting together a successful application. Finally, there will be time to answer your questions and we’ll also explain how the Fellows Committee can provide further assistance on an individual and confidential basis.
