Curious about Fellowship? Whether for yourself or for a colleague you wish to encourage, please join us virtually on Wednesday, May 22 for an introduction to the process presented by the Philadelphia Fellows Committee.
Fellowship is one of the highest honors the AIA can bestow, with only about 3% of AIA members achieving this distinction, and the process is, to most members, obscure. The Fellows Committee, which promotes the excellence of Philadelphia architects by assisting qualified Chapter members to apply, hopes to add clarity!
This meeting will help you understand whether Fellowship is something you might wish to pursue now or in the future. We will outline the qualifications the national Fellows jury is looking for, provide details about the process, and direct you to resources including individual help available from the Philadelphia Fellows Committee. Most importantly, you’ll hear from three recently elevated Fellows about their experience and their tips for the time-consuming job of putting together a successful application. There will be opportunity for questions and contacts for further individual and confidential follow up.
