Tantillo Architecture is looking to fill the following position: Director of Architecture

Tantillo Architecture is a Philadelphia based award winning architectural firm. Our clients have relied on us to design their office headquarters, restaurants, homes, hotels, fitness centers, apartment buildings, office buildings, amenity spaces, places of worship, lobbies, courtyards, rooftops, plazas, and much more. They have brought us as far south as Florida, as far north as Massachusetts, and as far west as California. Our team of architects and designers brings their diverse background and experience to bear on each project combined with a precise attention to detail and client service. This is a fast-paced environment where any member of the firm must be comfortable working on multiple projects at once and be able to shift gears as needed. QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-0 years project architect experience
• Bachelor or Master's degree from accredited architecture program
• Licensure is not required
• The ideal candidate must be proficient in Revit. 3+ Years
• Team Leader - ability to lead a team and work autonomously
• Passion for design and conveying ideas artistically
• Technically proficient in coordination and completion construction documentation

RESPONSIBILITIES AS SENIOR STAFF:

• Develop creative-design concepts for projects in collaboration with owner and team
• Work closely with owner and production team to achieve design vision
• Complete Documentation + spearhead Communication of all project tasks
• Manage the most complex projects (multiple projects at the same time)
• Manage Project Design including construction set & code compliance
• Actively participates in the design community and with networking groups
• Work on presentations, proposal responses, interview preparation
• Actively participates in prospective client interviews with owner

RESPONSIBILITIES AS AS DIRECTOR:

• Setting + managing/controlling fees + internal project budgets + schedule (team hours)
• Consultant service, fee negotiation/contracts + assist with invoices
• Developing + Managing project scope of work and schedule
• Oversee coordination with client, consultants, contractors
• Prepare strategic plans for project success
• Prepare written proposals to clients and execute consultant contracts
