Moto Designshop is looking to expand our network of experienced freelance architectural professionals to provide ongoing support across a range of active projects, including high-end residential, multifamily housing, and higher education work.

Our award-winning studio is interested in connecting with people who can integrate quickly into established project teams and contribute meaningfully at different phases of design and delivery. Depending on experience and project needs, assignments may include design development, visualization, construction documentation, project coordination, project management, and construction administration.

This is intended as a flexible freelance relationship supporting Moto's core staff as workloads and project needs evolve. Work can primarily be performed remotely, with opportunities for in-person collaboration at our Philadelphia studio when beneficial to the project or team.

We're interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Architectural design and design development
• 3D modeling, visualization, and presentation
• Construction documentation and detailing
• Revit production and BIM coordination
• Consultant coordination
• Project management and team coordination
• Construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, field observations, and coordination with contractors and consultants

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional architecture experience
• Strong architectural judgment and ability to work independently
• Professional experience working in Revit
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills
• Experience with high-end residential, multifamily, higher education, or similarly complex architectural projects is preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative project team in a remote environment

Because this is a freelance/independent arrangement, candidates must provide and maintain their own computer, software, and other tools necessary to perform their work, including appropriate software licenses.

Schedules can be flexible and may vary depending on project needs, availability, and individual expertise. We are open to developing ongoing relationships with freelancers who may support Moto across multiple projects and project phases.
