Architectural Designer: MaMo Architects I Ardmore, PA

We are seeking an Architectural Designer to join our collaborative studio and contribute to thoughtfully crafted custom residential projects from concept through construction. You'll work directly with the principals, consultants, and project teams in an environment where curiosity, technical rigor, and collaboration are valued, and where every team member has a meaningful impact on the work.

What You'll Do

Work with Project Managers with SketchUp modeling, field documentation, research, and presentation materials.

Assist Project Managers with development of pricing, permit, and construction drawings.

Support project development through product, material, fixture, and precedent research. 

Collaborate with Interiors Lead on FF&E selections, specifications, presentations, procurement documents and vendor coordination.

Incorporate markups and design direction from Principals and Project Managers into project documents.

Work on client presentations and maintain organized FF&E, vendor, product, sample, and project information.

Contribute to architectural design and documentation across schematic design, design development, permitting, construction documentation, and construction administration.

Provide light marketing and studio support, including formatting project images, organizing visual assets, and preparing draft social-media content for review.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor or Master of Architecture

2-5 years of professional experience

Experience with residential architecture preferred; custom residential a strong plus

Proficiency in Vectorworks (preferred) or comparable BIM software, along with SketchUp.

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Strong time management skills

Strong design sensibility and an interest in materials, detailing and residential architecture.

Custom millwork detailing

Kitchen and bath design

Material, finish, fixture, lighting, and furniture specification

Product research and procurement coordination
