Project Architect / Project Manager: MaMo Architects I Ardmore, PA

We are seeking a Project Architect / Project Manager to join our collaborative studio and help lead thoughtfully crafted custom residential projects from concept through construction. You'll work directly with the principals, clients, consultants, and builders in an environment where curiosity, technical rigor, and collaboration are valued, and where every team member has a meaningful impact on the work.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and manage custom residential projects through all phases of design and documentation.
• Develop detailed, coordinated construction documents that communicate design intent with clarity and precision.
• Coordinate consultants and collaborate closely with builders throughout design and construction.
• Develop and manage SketchUp models and other visual tolls that communicate design intent.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Contribute to a studio culture built on collaboration, thoughtful problem-solving, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture
• 3–10 years of professional experience
• Strong residential project experience
• Proficiency in Vectorworks(preferred) or comparable BIM software, and SketchUp
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• A design sense paired with strong technical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred

• Residential interior architecture and space planning
• Custom millwork detailing
• Kitchen and bath design
• Material, finish, fixture, lighting, and furniture specification
• Shop drawing review and product procurement coordination
• Product research, procurement coordination and ordering
• Furniture, lighting, and finish specification
