Position Overview

M+Sa is seeking a Project Architect with 5+ years of architectural firm experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical design background and a proven ability to coordinate consultant teams to produce construction documents.

Key Responsibilities

·      Develop design and technical solutions through all phases of the project

·      Contribute and inform construction document production

·      Code research, application and development of code sheets

·      Construction detailing and product research

·      Direct, mentor, and review work of team members

·      Meet with Project Manager and Partner in Charge on a regular basis to ensure client goals and expectations are being met

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Professional licensure is preferred but not required
• 5+ years of experience in architectural design
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, familiarity with Enscape and Sketchup
• Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and zoning regulations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design a plus
• Applicants must be legally able to work in the US
