Heckendorn Shiles Architects is an award-winning architecture, interior design and planning firm located in Wayne, Pennsylvania. We are a studio of designers, collaborators, and storytellers.

We are currently seeking an Interior Designer that has the following qualifications:

·        Seeking full-time employment

·        Recent graduate to 5 years of experience

·        NCIDQ certified or on path to certification

·        Professional Degree in Interior Design

·        Ability to think creatively and independently

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

The ideal candidate would have familiarity and/or competence with the following tasks:

·        Support the development of design concepts

·        Contribute to the design and execution of thoughtful, well-crafted interior spaces though FF&E selection, furniture layouts, and finish palettes

·        Assist in preparation of design presentations, mood boards, and client materials

·        Space Planning

·        Design and construction documentation

·        Ability to work with vendors for materials and furniture

·        Software proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

Experience in project types such as Workplace, Education, and Local Government is of benefit.
