The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, licensed architect to serve as Project Manager across a varied and engaging project portfolio, including projects in healthcare, multi-family housing, hospitality, laboratory and general commercial categories. This is a senior-level role for a self-directed professional who thrives on building client relationships, leading project teams, and delivering high-quality work on schedule and budget. The right candidate will become a key contributor to the firm's leadership culture and long-term growth.

CosciaMoos maintains an in-office culture (max 1 day/week remote), as we believe the best work is achieved in a collaborative physical environment.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects simultaneously across all phases.

Serve as primary client liaison, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication throughout each project lifecycle

Lead and coordinate internal project teams, subconsultants, and contractors

Monitor project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans; identify and address issues proactively

Engage quality control across deliverables at all project phases

Participate in business development efforts including proposal writing, client presentations, and fee negotiation

Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative office culture

Navigate applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and agency approval processes, in collaboration with other team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Architecture (5 year) or Master of Architecture degree

Licensed Architect with current registration in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (required)

Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years demonstrated project management responsibility

Experience across multiple project types.  Must have some experience in healthcare.

Authorized to work in the United States (required)

Familiarity with project management software (Advantage, Ajera, etc.)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of the financial and economic fundamentals of the architecture profession. 

Understanding typical contract terms; experience drafting and negotiating contracts
