Preservation Design Partnership [PDP] is seeking an experienced, registered architect, with 5 to 15 years of experience, to assume a Project Architect role, administering highly complex projects involving National Historic Landmarks and historic sites.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BACKGROUND/EDUCATION
· Professional (NAAB Accredited) Degree in Architecture
· Registered Architect, or in-process
· Ideally 5 to 15 years of experience working in an architectural design firm
· Preferred Degree in Historic Preservation or substantial work on historic buildings
· Governmental experience beneficial
· Higher Education and/or institutional experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSET
· Strong Revit / AutoCAD production skills
· Interest in leadership and ability to develop project management skills
· Interest in building and nurturing client relationships
· Skilled in analytical thinking to support the design process
· Self-motivated individual able to work well in a collaborative office environment
· Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
