Meyer is seeking an experienced architect with 8-10 years' experience to join our healthcare team.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to multiple projects from concept through construction.
  • Conduct thorough code research and understand regulatory agency processes.
  • Guide the integration of Meyer's QA/QC standards and Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD) goals.
  • Oversee constructability reviews and ensure the quality and detailing of documentation.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and internal teams for seamless project execution.
  • Participate in design reviews, charrettes, and construction administration.
  • Stay current with architectural trends and participate in industry groups.
  • Evaluate and monitor project code compliance, system development, and detailing with the project team.
  • Ensure project delivery meets client goals, contractual scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Represent Meyer in client-facing meetings, consultant coordination, and contractor discussions.
  • Engage in internal processes, including project strategy, documentation standards, and design reviews.
  • Mentor junior staff in both technical and professional development.
  • Model leadership through studio participation, culture-building, and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain active licensure and CEU compliance; support Meyer's commitment to ongoing professional growth.
  • Support Meyer's standards, initiatives, and business goals across studio activities.

 

Qualifications

  • Registered or in the process of registration.  
  • 8–10 years of architectural experience with a focus on healthcare design.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying FGI Guidelines and healthcare regulations.
  • Strong design sensibility paired with technical execution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage consultants, and engage in client relationships.
