Terra Studio has been reinterpreting the Philadelphia rowhouse with innovative approaches that address modern needs and lifestyles while respecting memory and traditions. This home was first built in the 1990s as part of a half-block development. After thirty years, the original owners sought a transformation that would open the house to natural light and incorporate a fresh sense of design. Walls were removed, the stairway was reconstructed, the rooftop was transformed into a green oasis, and custom woodwork, lighting and finishes were designed to harmonize with the owners’ art collection.
