The Winter issue of Context will be devoted to a building material that is present, in some form, in nearly all of our projects: wood. The volume will explore wood from a variety of perspectives, related to climate, design, construction, and community. For the Design Profiles, we are seeking examples of work built within the last 3 years that feature wood in prominent, creative, and innovative ways. Projects may include wood as a structural material, as a finish material, or really in any way – as long as wood is key to the design and experience of the project. Send us your finest examples of design and construction with wood for potential publication in Context!
To have your project considered for publication, please complete the online form and be sure to include a description of the project (300-word maximum,) the project team and their corresponding roles (firm names, not names of individuals), major product suppliers with contact information (names and numbers), and high-resolution photos (including who to credit for these photos) no later than Wednesday, September 14th. A plan, axon, or diagram that explains an important aspect of the project would also be appreciated.
