Congratulations to Erdy McHenry Architecture on winning a Merit Award for their Leonard and Helena Mazur Hall Project.

The soaring parabolic roof and the insertion of the transparent lobby volume reintegrates the public realm of Polett Walk and the newly renovated plaza to establish a welcoming gateway to the campus for both students and community alike.

The revitalization of the original plaza repositions engagement to be outward facing, recapturing the Universities desire to serve the working class of Philadelphia. The addition to Leonard and Helena Mazur Hall creates unity between the elevated green space and the street that was previously missing.
