The U.S. Pavilion at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia will explore the theme “PORCH: An Architecture of Generosity,” celebrating the porch as a quintessential American architectural space. With its unique ability to foster connection and resilience, the “PORCH” serves as a powerful site for community.

PORCH’s Organizers invite architects, designers, artists, nonprofits, public agencies, and individuals across the U.S. and its territories to submit built projects that reflect this iconic typology. The pavilion will feature at least 50 participants, showcasing projects that span scales, geographies, and histories.

Submissions due January 17: https://www.porchusavenice2025.org/open-call
