We are happy to announce the recipient of this year's Matthew J. Koenig Memorial Scholarship: Keecha Abie Kamara.

Abie Kamara, a sophomore architecture student at Temple University, is driven by a passion to utilize architecture as a tool for community empowerment. Inspired by architects like Francis Kere and drawn to the impactful design of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Abie's coursework and extracurricular involvement reflect her commitment to understanding and leveraging architecture's potential. With a foundation in both technical knowledge and community engagement, Abie's dedication to creating meaningful architectural solutions for underserved communities makes her a deserving candidate for this scholarship.

Join us in celebrating Keecha Abie Kamara on Monday, May 6th at the 2024 Matthew J. Koenig Memorial Golf Tournament. Dinner tickets and scholarship contributions are all still open.
